NEHRU AND EDWINA
Edwina Mountbatten, Pandit Nehru friendship cost Kashmiris very dearly, daughter Pamela referred to Nehru as 'Mamu'. 'Mamu' means a maternal uncle and an impression created is that Edwina had some sexual relationship with Nehru. Both the situations can cast aspersion on the character of Nehru.

Punishment for karnti kari
AZADI TRANSLATED INTO ENGLISH MEANS FREEDOM DIFFICULT FOR INDIA TO UNDERSTAND, UNFORTUNATELY

"Locked in a death struggle for survival and the right of self-determination, this historic Valley of Beauty has become a Valley of Death! A country of thirteen million people, primarily Muslim inhabitants, face on a basis, the bullets and brutality of an occupation army of Indian Hindu soldiers. One is hard pressed to discover any comparable contemporary conflict capable of possessing an equal amount of naked brutality, inhumanity and intolerance as that experienced by the Kashmiri people over the past forty-seven years under occupation."   William W Baker

STATE OF KASHMIR

“People seem to forget that Kashmir is not a commodity for sale
or to be bartered. It has an individual existence
and its people must be the final arbiters of their future”
.
Jawaharlal Nehru July 6, 1951

"Sometimes people just go crazy from too much abuse and violence and take drastic, irrational measures to protect themselves - All human beings deserve the right to self determination, the right to the ballot, the right to have life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Individual terrorism is bad enough but state sponsored terrorism is truly evil"    Michael Moore

Kashmir has been a flash point as three nuclear powers China, Pakistan and India fought four full scale wars. Another war, anybody can imagine, can be catastrophic. It is very unfortunate that more than one hundred thousand people, old, young and children have been killed in just last twenty years and many more are killed in a routine manner on daily basis as the people who have unleashed this terror are able to hoodwink the world community and have managed to make the outside world believe that non-violence being the motto, everything is under control in Kashmir. This very rich paradise belonging to the very poor people has been divided as if it were a piece of cake and all the three powers got whatever they could lay their hands on. Two generations have been completely wiped out and rest of these innocent people are not even in a position to ask a simple question:

What are we being punished for?

Kashmir is not a territorial dispute between India and Pakistan but an occupation of the land of peaceful people in flagrant violation of international commitments made from time to time. This is kaniJung 2010 [fight with stones and bricks]. The link for videos below throws ample light on the current political situation.
“The most powerful force in the world today is neither communism, nor capitalism, neither the H bomb nor the guided missiles. It is man’s eternal desire to be free and independent”.
President John F. Kennedy (1957)

LICENCE TO KILL

One of the draconian laws "Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) (tip of the ice-berg) gives amnesty to Indian Army to shoot and kill anyone anywhere and a pretext is no compulsion.

The insensitivity shown by International community to the plight of Kashmiris is puzzling allowing these hapless people to turn into psychological wrecks. Two generations are wiped out, the process continues and one fails to understand the behaviour of the followers of non-violent Mahatma Gandhi.
Kashmir is not a bilateral issue of two hostile nuclear nations but a human problem of rightful owners of the state of Kashmir.
